Many have asked the same question:
What motivated you to actually sit down and write this book?
My relationship with an ex-boyfriend
was my inspiration for writing, He Wasn’t My Daddy. The
demise of that relationship catapulted into various platforms that
are relevant to millions of women across the globe. These platforms
include: being a fatherless daughter, suffering from depression and
suicidal attempts, and suffering from low self-esteem. This
relationship allowed me to realize that not only was I a fatherless
daughter who had serious daddy issues and suffered from mental
health issues, but that I was broken and desperately needed to be
restored. Retelling my story was the first step I took toward my
healing and as a result, I became compelled to inspire, uplift and
restore other women on their journey toward restoration, redemption,
healing and self-love.
So, I invite you to journey with me on
my road to redemption and restoration. By far, it has not been an
easy ride for me, but I will continue my journey and hope that those
who read my story, and possibly see themselves between the pages,
will be able to begin their journey as well.
